AIRROC's 2014 Boston Regional Education Day

The Boston Chapter CPCU Society is partnering with the Association of Insurance & Reinsurance Run-Off Companies (AIRROC) and Alvarez & Marsal, Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP to present the AIRROC’s 2014 Boston Regional Education Day.

The AIRROC’s Education day offers various insurance-related educational sessions and a luncheon with keynote speaker. The full day event includes breakfast, lunch and a networking reception.  This event is free for all Boston Chapter members and will qualify for CE credit.  Boston Chapter members have the option of attending as many of the sessions that they would like.

Keynote Speaker, Anna Petropoulos, President, Apetrop USA, will lead a discussion on the recently enacted Vermont Legacy Insurance Management Act (LIMA). Ms. Petropoulos was a key driver in getting this ground-breaking legislation passed. LIMA represents the first instance of US legislation enabling the transfer of closed blocks of commercial insurance and reinsurance policies, creating for the first time a legal and regulatory framework and marketplace for such transfers.
