Local Opportunities

Want to explore new opportunities? Looking for employment or an internship? The CPCU Society can help you get where you need to go. We’re focused on your success and have the tools you need to enhance your career.

Gamma Iota Sigma boasts a yearly paid membership of over 1100 students.  But it isn't the number of students that join GIS every year that make the organization special, it is the caliber of these students.  Please contact us to find out how you can meet exception students from across North America.

The Boston Chapter is now accepting applications through June 30, 2014 for the awarding of its Annual Boston Chapter CPCU Society Scholarship

We will award two $2,000 scholarships to any spouse or dependent of a member in good standing with the National Society and our Chapter. A spouse or dependent of a deceased chapter member is also eligible. A completed application should be returned by June 30, 2014 and the decision of the Scholarship Committee will be furnished to all applicants in early September.

High school seniors planning to attend college or other institutions of advanced education, such as a school of nursing, an art or music school, or trade school, are eligible candidates. Eligibility extends to seniors in college and students in graduate programs. A student may receive a scholarship only once. Students who are unsuccessful applicants in prior years may re-apply. More than one member of a family may apply in any one year.

Chapter members who are interested in receiving a scholarship application (click to print a copy) or who have questions regarding the eligibility requirements should contact:
