At both of our May events on Thursday, May 10th (noted above), we will be collecting donations of women's (only) business attire, shoes, handbags and jewelry appropriate for a job interview.
Examples of women's items to donate:
1. Suits (all sizes) 2. Separates: blouses/pants/skirts/shells (all sizes) 3. Shoes: closed toe and neutral toned (all sizes)

Scholarship Applications Due June 15, 2012
We will award two $2,000 scholarships to any spouse or dependent of a member in good standing with the National Society and our Chapter. A spouse or dependent of a deceased chapter member is also eligible.
A completed application should be returned by June 15, 2012 and the decision of the Scholarship Committee will be furnished to all applicants in early September.
High school seniors planning to attend college or other institutions of advanced education, such as a school of nursing, an art or music school, or trade school, are eligible candidates. Eligibility extends to seniors in college and students in graduate programs. A student may receive a scholarship only once. Students who are unsuccessful applicants in prior years may re-apply. More than one member of a family may apply in any one year.

The Boston Chapter CPCU started a running club for casual runs and races!

A HUGE thank you to Karen Cangemi, Meredith Mangan, and Carlos Nobles who were part of a group of 42 volunteers who graciously donated their time on Saturday, April 21st, at the Greater Boston Food Bank.
10,716 pounds of food were sorted and 8,573 pounds of food were salvaged to provide 6,636 meals in the fight against hunger!
Save the date: We will volunteer again at the Food Bank on October 27, 2012
